This 35-year-old female was complaining of a lack of fullness in her breasts after seven pregnancies. While a woman’s breasts will notably increase in size during pregnancy and breastfeeding, a loss of breast volume after pregnancy and once breastfeeding has ceased is quite common.

At the time of her consultation, this patient was an A cup. After discussing her options in terms of sizing and implant type, the patient chose to go up two whole cup sizes to a full C cup. She chose size 375 cc, high-profile Mentor implants made of gel/silicone and underwent submuscular breast augmentation to achieve her results.

This 32-year-old patient had had three children and achieved a significant weight loss on her own — she’d lost 40 lbs. Although in some similar cases, a breast lift may have been recommended, the patient did not want the scarring that is necessary with a lift. Therefore, it was decided that the fullness she desired could be achieved through augmentation and implants.

As a mother of three children, this 42-year-old female patient was looking to regain some of the fullness in her breasts she’d had before children.

Commonly among mothers, breast fullness and lift tends to go away due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. Multiple pregnancies and subsequent periods of breastfeeding can exacerbate sagging and lack of volume even further.

This patient suffered from significant sagging, and as a result, a breast lift was actually recommended over breast augmentation. The patient did not want the scarring that comes with a breast lift, however, so she chose to move forward with submuscular breast augmentation.
