As a mother of three children, this 42-year-old female patient was looking to regain some of the fullness in her breasts she’d had before children.
Commonly among mothers, breast fullness and lift tends to go away due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. Multiple pregnancies and subsequent periods of breastfeeding can exacerbate sagging and lack of volume even further.
This patient suffered from significant sagging, and as a result, a breast lift was actually recommended over breast augmentation. The patient did not want the scarring that comes with a breast lift, however, so she chose to move forward with submuscular breast augmentation. We used silicone high profile implants in a size 400 cc.
